Chapter 1179: Devil King's Eye
The furious White Eyed True Devil took a deep breath. Suddenly, an enormous suction force tried to pull Li Lingjing's face towards its head in an attempt to consume her.
However, it did not go smoothly.
Li Lingjing's face had grown stronger after consuming the third Blood Coffin Carrier. As such, she was able to resist much harder than the two faces the White Eyed True Devil had consumed earlier. Li Lingjing's face wavered around the White Eyed True Devil's chest, struggling against it.
This made the White Eyed True Devil feel even more frustrated. This development was completely out of its expectations. All the Blood Coffin Carriers were supposed to be sacrificed to him. Why was this last one resisting?

The White Eyed True Devil gave off a cold gaze that emanated a terrifying pressure. At the same time, countless strange whispers came out of its throat like a curse.

After which, her visage began to move up along the White Eyed True Devil’s body.
After quashing Li Lingjing's attempts to resist, the fingers of the White Eyed True Devil suddenly fell off. They flew along with the wind and expanded rapidly into giant pillars in the sky.
The ten white pillars stood perfectly in a line like a giant gate.
The two-headed dragon charged towards the gate with overflowing energy. It opened its maws, and two streams of dragonbreath gushed out.
One was black as ink like the cold Underworld River water.
The other was a brilliant silver with lightning sparkling over its surface.

As soon as the two torrents of dragonbreath clashed with the gate formed by the ten fingers, a deep rut was left on it. However, this gate was extraordinary. Cold wax oil continuously flowed down and repaired the damage.
Nonetheless, the Twin Banner Fusion from Li Luo was also nothing to scoff at. When the dragonbreath didn't work, the two-headed dragon charged towards the gate. It swiped with its sharp claws and directly left a torn rift in their wake.

The two-headed dragon flew through the gap in the broken gate as a result.
Suddenly, Li Luo's eyes narrowed when he saw what was happening.

With that in mind, Li Luo placed his hands together. Immense resonant power surged up and flowed into the two-headed dragon.
Roar!
The dragon let out a raging cry. Immense amounts of energy were condensing within its maws. It eventually took the form of two pearls that were a few feet wide.
One of them was as black as ink, containing the black river water within it. It was filled with energy that chilled anyone who even so much as looked at it.
The other was blindingly bright. Wild lightning raged within that orb, capable of smiting everything.
At this point, the enormous body of the two-headed dragon started shrinking rapidly. At the same time, the energy coming from the two pearls strengthened. The undulations of energy emanating from it had reached an astonishing level.
Then the dragon opened its maws ferociously. The pearls blasted forward like a flash of lightning. They zoomed forward like two comets chasing after one another, heading straight towards the White Eyed True Devil in the distance. The powerful pearls grew larger and larger in the White Eyed True Devil's eyes. Its face continued to wriggle vigorously. After a while, the wriggling finally began to calm down.
A vicious and cold smile appeared on its face.
Boom!
The two pearls exploded upon arrival. A terrifying energy storm swept up and engulfed the White Eyed True Devil directly.
Heaven and earth appeared to shudder from the explosion.
Many of the students’ faces changed at this point. Judging from the energy pulses, that move would’ve likely spelled death even for second-grade Dukes.
Surely the White Eyed True Devil was finally slain this time, right?
The energy storm continued for a few moments before it gradually subsided.
Everyone looked over at the debris and its aftermath. The body of the White Eyed True Devil had completely disappeared. However, there was a torn and embattled visage floating in the air.
There was a creepy and cold smile that remained.
Countless pieces of white debris lingered in the air as well.
The battlefield fell into complete silence.
Everyone stared at the torn face without making a single noise. Had the White Eyed True Devil been critically injured?
However, Li Luo did not show any signs of ease on his face. In contrast, his eyes grew more serious.
He could sense that the White Eyed True Devil was still present in the surroundings.
"Hehe."
Spine-tingling laughter came from the ruined face. "Absolutely amazing. I had thought that everything was under my control. Who would have expected things to end up like this? This has truly been a miscalculation on my part."
At this point, the white debris in the air began to wriggle. With shocking speed, everyone stared in disbelief as each shred turned into a humanoid figure. Each and every one possessed no facial features.
Then all of these faceless figures began to walk towards the torn face and were absorbed into it. In the end, the remnants of the face started expanding. In just a few moments, it turned back into a completely unharmed White Eyed True Devil.
When the students witnessed this, an overwhelming sense of helplessness flooded their hearts. This True Devil was incredibly tenacious. Even a devastating attack from Li Luo was unable to slay it.
It seemed like even a second-grade Duke would be forced into a bitter struggle against such a creature.
"You must have reached the limits of your strength, right? In that case, I will be adding your skin to my collection today." The White Eyed True Devil laughed.
Both sides had revealed their aces in this battle. Unfortunately, Li Luo had fallen a little short.
When it finished speaking, endless amounts of corruption surged up within its body. One could tell from the energy pulses that it was now as strong as a third-grade Duke.

Even Li Luo felt a chill run up his spine. He felt like the eyes were directly connected to the All-Beings Devil King. It was as if that terrifying presence was looking straight at him.
The Devil King's Eye! With just a single gaze, Li Luo almost collapsed onto the ground.
However, Li Luo was able to fortify his mental will and resist the influence of corruption when he closed his eyes. He could sense Jiang Qing'e looking over at him. If he could not handle the situation, she would rush up regardless of how dangerous it was.
