Chapter 142: The Lurking Dark
[ Elf Emperor's Throne Chamber ]
After the meeting, the Elf Emperor takes his time, reading some scrolls for that's his routine.
He reads it, the scrolls he gathered that contain much knowledge back from his time.
"( Oh such great knowledge. )" he says while reading it, amazed by the offered knowledge given by the scrolls.
" I hope I could implement it to the Elves for future purposes. " he spills out, what's inside his mind.
" I see you immersed yourself in reading that rotten knowledge, your Majesty. " a voice emerges from the dark.
" You... " the Elf Emperor noticed the voice, for he quickly turns his head to the source of the voice.
As he turns his head, the owner of the voice then lurks out from the Darkness, showing his face in front of the Grand Elven Leader.
" Tenebrae. " the Elf Emperor says as he sees him, realizing it was him all along.
" Have you been watching me in the dark, as usual...? "
" Head of the Nyx Nocterra House, was it? " the Elf Emperor asks Tenebrae as he comes out.
" Well, well..., I've been bored lately... "
" After all, since there's no one dares to challenge me... "

" I don't like being drunk, like your kind. " Elf Emperor calmly responds, despite a 'human' just trespassing on his private domain.
" I see you're the type who cares so much of your health, Elf Emperor... " Tenebrae then picks one glass on the Emperor's place and pours his wine there.
" So sad that you couldn't enjoy everything if you're that strict. "
" What a nerd. " Tenebrae teases the Emperor.
" What do you want, dark mage? " the Elf Emperor asks Tenebrae regarding his 'reasons' to be here.
" I just want to inform you, Majesty... " Tenebrae says as he sips his wine.
" Validur..., sent your a portion of your army to that place. " Tenebrae tells the Elf Emperor.
" Validur? " the Elf Emperor listens to it, he knows that place, but.
" Why should I send my army there, to that ruin of a region that I wiped out? " the Elf Emperor asks Tenebrae.
" The owners of the land, the Dark Elf. " Tenebrae says to the Elven Emperor.
" Some of them had returned to that place, in a different form. " Tenebrae informs the Emperor regarding it.
" The Dark Elves!? " the Emperor hears it while laughing.
" *laugh* Are you serious? those wretched of our kind are all dead!? " the Emperor laughs at Tenebrae for bringing this joke of information.
" Yes, they are, Majesty. " Tenebrae replied.
" But I must inform you, just because they're dead, doesn't mean they stay in the ground forever. " Tenebrae tells the Emperor.
" For this is the world of magic and miracles, anything could happen. "
" Like for example, those Elves could be taken in and become Magisteel Cyborg, or even become resurrected using things using... "
" Necromancy... " Tenebrae says which makes the Emperor frown.
As he hears the word 'Necromancy', he thinks for a sec. Considering something he happens to know at the times of old, in his past.
" You seem to know, something..., Emperor. " Tenebrae smirks as he finally makes the Emperor gets it.
As the Emperor think of it, he then clenched his hands for he seemed to remember something out of his past, something he realized to a threat in his youth.
" How did you know that? " the Emperor asks Tenebrae.
" None of you who were born after 'Ragnarok' should know about that word. " the Elf Emperor says, telling Tenebrae that the very thing about 'Necromancy' had been eradicated after that ancient Event.
" Well, what could I say, Emperor? " Tenebrae replied with a happy face.
" It's just some info I gathered, believe it or not, that depends on you. "
" In the end, the reason I'm here is to spice things up, to make a great reality action event that could pump the heat of excitement in my veins. "

" There's a person you should gaze your eyes upon. " Tenebrae says, as he smirks.
As he says that, the Elf Emperor begins to listen, preparing to consume what word Tenebrae will say next.
" His name is 'Draven'. " Tenebrae says.
" 'Draven'? " the Elf Emperor asks after listening to it.
" Yes, D-R-A-V-E-N. "
" A current spotlight in the human news media. "
" Said to be the one who wiped out the Star Elf Kings' troops, the one who attacks the 'Prodigal Academy'. " Tenebrae explains, making the Elf Emperor's eyes widen.
" What is it, does it ring some bell to you, Majesty? " Tenebrae asks, smiling cynically for he sure gets the Emperor.
" He's the one who did it? alone? " the Emperor asks Tenebrae regarding it.
" Well, I don't know, I only just received the news from my subordinates. "
" Besides, being an exile really make me late for any type of news, even though most of the news is boring. "
" But this 'Draven' guy, I know him after our first encounter, he's some badass who appeared out from the shadows. "
" Pretty cool for a real-world person, I hope you could meet him. "
" For I once see him, summoning Dark Elves using his magic. " Tenebrae tells the Emperor, telling that the thing he sees in some instances which he doesn't really explain the exact time, but still.
The explanation piqued the Emperor's interest even more, realizing that something had arisen from the human world to oppose him.
" Fine then, Tenebrae. "
" I will look to it, Draven... " the Elf Emperor thinks about it as Tenebrae wants to leave, but.
" Why did you give me this information? isn't this Draven a 'human' too, just like you? " the Elf Emperor asks Tenebrae which Tenebrae responded with silence this time.
After minutes of silence, Tenebrae smirks for he then left the emperor, returning to the Darkness where he belongs, leaving the Emperor alone again.
" That hideous human child, I hope I could get rid of him, someday. " Elf Emperor vows.
" Even now, I didn't know why he often helps people who want to attack the humans, despite being a human, himself. " the Elf Emperor wonders about Tenebrae's true intention.
