Chapter 143: Love ?

Wang Feng tiredly lay on the sofa and said, "How's life at your school?" At this moment, Lu Yao brought a cup of hot milk to Wang Feng, who took a sip and felt very comfortable.

His sister said, "It's totally different from high school. The schedule is very relaxed, and we have a lot of free time. Yao Yao is doing fine since there are many Chinese students at her school. But as for me, I'm in a tough spot. I haven't seen any compatriots so far."

Wang Feng chuckled. In this era of development, even those with means would choose higher education institutions over an art school. Naturally, there would be few Chinese people.

"Who made you insist on choosing Brera Academy of Fine Arts? It would be so much better to attend Milan University with Lu Yao."

"No, I have a dream of art in my heart, and I think the teachers are quite good. Their teaching methods are easy to understand. As for not having playmates, I can find Lu Yao. Besides, we have a cute Japanese girl in our dormitory."

Wang Feng chuckled, "You sound like a big, tough guy. Don't bully her." His sister scoffed and then said with a sly smile, "Yao Yao, why don't you tell us about your situation? Talk about your admirers, hehe."

Lu Yao glanced carefully at Wang Feng and said indignantly, "What admirers? They're just a bunch of unruly kids from the same country, making jokes. I don't pay any attention to them."

His sister hugged Wang Feng's neck from behind and said, "See, aren't you concerned about Lu Yao?" Wang Feng felt a little embarrassed. When he first heard about this, he did feel a bit uneasy. He explained, "Of course, I care about Lu Yao. I promised Uncle Lu to take good care of her."

His sister tapped Wang Feng's head hard and said, "You blockhead, that last sentence was totally unnecessary."

"Don't worry, I'll take care of Yao Yao for you, you fool."

Lu Yao retorted, "Why do I need you to take care of me? Just take care of yourself." With that, they started playfully wrestling, filling the villa with a cheerful family atmosphere.

The next day, Wang Feng woke up early for morning exercises. After returning home, he enjoyed a long-awaited breakfast. While he was exercising, his sister burst in excitedly, "Bro, take half a day off and let's go out together."

Wang Feng thought it was a rare opportunity, so he went out with them. However, they needed to disguise themselves to avoid being recognized.

After putting on a wig, fake beard, sunglasses, and other disguises, his sister rolled her eyes, "Do you really need to be so thorough?"

"Of course, don't you know how famous I am in Milan? If I'm recognized and it causes a scene, it will be troublesome."

Wang Feng didn't use his usual Lamborghini Murcielago, mainly because many reporters knew his car model and license plate. It was difficult to be low-key. Plus, with three people, a sports car wasn't the most comfortable option.

He chose a Bentley Continental, which offered a comfortable interior space, something Wang Feng valued highly. With his sister and Lu Yao, they set off on their outing.

It was more of a shopping spree than sightseeing. They went to the famous Via Monte Napoleone, where luxury brands filled every corner, overwhelming the girls.

Soon, Wang Feng had several shopping bags in his hands, all items chosen by his sister. Not only did he have to pay, but he also had to help carry them, which was quite a hassle.

It was evident that Lu Yao was interested in some clothes and handbags, but unlike his sister, she maintained enough rationality and restraint. Although Wang Feng wanted to buy for her, he didn't know how to bring it up.

Perhaps sensing the situation, his sister came up with an idea. She saw a Prada autumn collection that would suit Lu Yao perfectly and urged her to try it on.

Lu Yao was tempted, but seeing the four-digit price tag, she shook her head, "It's too expensive, I'd better not." She didn't want to waste her family's money.

His sister whispered in her ear, "But this really suits you. Why don't you try it on? I bet my brother's eyes will pop out."

Blushing, Lu Yao glanced at Wang Feng. The dress was indeed beautiful, but would Wang Feng like it?

If she spent a little less this month, she could save from her allowance. So she bit the bullet, took the dress, and went into the fitting room.

When Lu Yao came out, Wang Feng was truly amazed. The waist-length shirt paired with ankle-length skirt, both in gray tones, complemented her fair skin and long straight hair, making her look beautiful and elegant.

Shyly, Lu Yao asked, "Brother Feng, what do you think?" as she slowly turned around, now resembling a princess.

Seeing Wang Feng's entranced expression, his sister whispered in his ear, "Looks great, why don't you buy it for her?" Then she ran to Lu Yao, pulling her to show off the outfit and engaging her in conversation.

Wang Feng snapped out of his daze and discreetly paid for the dress. The salesperson understood and completed the transaction without a word.

After learning about it, Lu Yao insisted on giving money to Wang Feng, but his sister interjected, "Consider it a fee for cooking for him. You can cook for him more often in the future." Wang Feng nodded vigorously, and Lu Yao accepted.

After dinner, Wang Feng dropped his sister off at Brera Academy and then Lu Yao at Milan University. When they reached the door, Lu Yao, clutching the paper bag, whispered, "Thank you for the gift, Brother Feng. I'm really happy."

With that, she shyly got out of the car and walked into the school. Wang Feng watched her walk away, feeling a flutter in his heart.

At that moment, he saw a Chinese-looking boy running angrily towards Lu Yao, shouting something. Lu Yao didn't even acknowledge him and just kept walking. The boy continued to follow her persistently.

Wang Feng, worried about Lu Yao, quickly parked the car and went after them. Just as he reached the corner, he heard Lu Yao's voice, "Yes, the one who just dropped me off is my boyfriend, Li Ran. Give up on me."

Lu Yao, who appeared as an ordinary girl next door to Wang Feng, now exuded a cold aura that intimidated the student named Li Ran. He tried to act calm, saying, "Who is he? Are you only with him for money?"

Lu Yao sneered, not bothering to explain, and walked away. Li Ran, knowing her background, blushed and stammered, unable to say anything, watching her walk away.

On the other side of the corner, Wang Feng heard their conversation and was deeply moved. He never realized Lu Yao's thoughts. Even when she wasn't in front of him, her presence was strong. Was this the same girl who blushed at the slightest tease?
