Chapter 46 - Sofia's Birthday Party
The next day.
Bryana gave a large gift which was delivered by courier to Dean's house. At that time, the house was crowded with guests from Sofia's school friends. Sofia also looks like a princess because she is wearing a blue dress with sequins all over the fabric of the dress. The little girl also wore a crown and wore a little make-up polished by Kareen, who had taken a day off from work just to celebrate the birthday party.
"Sofia, this is for you. Hope you like it." Bryana gave a very large pink box-shaped gift with a picture of a butterfly, which was immediately placed on the table provided on the terrace of the house and lots of other gifts were piled up there.
"Thanks, Mom. Big box, must be good content." Sofia looked radiant and wanted to open the gift immediately.
"This is a present for you." Calvin handed her a medium-sized blue box with the character Frozen on it.
Dean, who had been standing beside Sofia, glared at Calvin, then accepted the gift. "Thank you handsome. uncle sure, it's cool in here and Sofia will like it."
Calvin just smiled shyly. Sofia immediately invited him to enter the living room, which was already boisterous with children, the sound of music which was a children's song echoing.
"It's very narrow inside. What do I want to get to a chair for you here?" Dean asked feeling uncomfortable letting Bryana continue to stand.
"No need. I'll come in and I thought the MC I ordered will be here soon to start the party," Bryana replied as she raised her hand to glance at her watch.
Dean sighed, then glanced inwardly at the noisy children singing along, some playing. Meanwhile, Louis, Lauren, Monica, Kareen, and her mother were in the living room. He turned to glance at Bryana, who looked as charming as ever. Her employer wore a light brown knee-length dress, was guided by a cream top, and let her hair loose.

Until a few moments of waiting, the MC came. Bryana and Dean rushed into the living room because the party was about to start.
Bryana stood next to Calvin with Louis and Lauren along with other guests, while Dean, with Sofia, and Lily, stood beside at the table where a large birthday cake had the theme of Frozen and several candles were burning on it. One of them is a number five candle.
They sang the happy birthday song accompanied by music and clapped their hands. Until the time comes to blow out the candles and cut the cake. Sofia fed her father, then her grandmother. And the unexpected thing is, she also wants to feed cake to Calvin and Bryana. Bryana was also happy to take bribes from Sofia, and so was Calvin.
Sofia also immediately opened the special gift Bryana gave in front of her friends. She wants all her friends who tease her for never celebrating a birthday, knowing that she currently has a new mom who is very beautiful and kind.
Bryana didn't mind and that's what she wanted. Dean helped open the big gift and it turned out that it contained a set of Barbie dolls, complete with miniature houses and gardens around them.
"Mommy, what a wonderful gift!" Sofia looked radiant and immediately hugged Bryana.
"Do you like the gift?" Bryana asked with a warm smile as she released Sofia's hug.
Sofia just nodded, because it was the toy she wanted, but her father couldn't buy it yet because it was so expensive.
Dean could only admire the closeness of Bryana and Sofia more. Sometimes, Lily glanced at Dean and Bryana with worry, she was worried that the two of them would be in a relationship, while Kareen hoped for Dean.
''They forgot about me just because of Bryana, Even though I'm always with them whether it's hard or happy,'' Kareen grumbled, staring irritably at Dean and Sofia who was with Bryana in the midst of a crowd of small children who wanted to see that special gift.
"What are you saying, Kareen? Are you jealous?" asked Monica, who heard Kareen's words quite clearly even though the room was very noisy because she was standing right beside her.
"No," said Kareen, then walked out of the house. Who knows where She is going.
Lily, who realized Kareen's crush, immediately followed, while the others continued the party hosted by the MC.

When it was five o'clock in the afternoon, the party was over. All the guests have left including Monica, Louis, Lauren, and also Calvin. Bryana is still there because she will return home with Dean who is back to focus on being her bodyguard.
Now, Bryana and Dean are cleaning the living room which is a bit dirty because of the celebration earlier. because she doesn't know where, while Lily is in the living room with Sofia to open gifts from her friends.
"Jill, I'll take care of everything. You'll get dirty hands," said Dean, staring at Bryana, who was picking up plastics candy or snack wrappers. she never saw Bryana do any chores because the household assistant always did.
"It's okay, Dean. I'll wash my hands later," Bryana replied, throwing the trash in the available trash can.
Dean sighed, then sat down on the sofa because felt tired. "This isn't your job, Jill. Sorry to bother you."
"I didn't bother at all. I'm very happy to be able to help you and make Sofia happy." Bryana also sat beside Dean, but not too close.
"Hem, you can cut my pay to replace the money you've spent on all these parties," Dean exclaimed.
"No, I won't cut your pay," Bryana replied lazily. she hated it the most when Dean was getting low again.
"That can't be, Jill. I am responsible for my daughter's happiness and I will still pay for this celebration." Dean insisted. he looked at Bryana who was too kind and made it impossible not to love her even more.
"And I'll never accept the money. I'm doing this sincerely to make Sofia, who I think of as my son, happy. I don't need that money!" Bryana insisted, then got off the sofa and walked into the living room to meet Sofia.
Dean went back to cleaning up. Because there are still hanging decorations that he hasn't removed.

From a distance, a middle-aged man was sitting in a black luxury car, staring at Dean's residence.
"Lucas, do you know who owns that sports car?" the man asked the man beside him who looked younger and was wearing formal clothes.
"Bryana Jill Darlene. She's Dean's employer," replied the man named Lucas.
The middle-aged man nodded in understanding and slowly grinned evilly. looks like he's up to something for Dean or Bryana.
"Forcibly bring Sofia to my house tonight," cried the middle-aged man.
"Mr. Gustave, are you serious? Dean will be very angry and he could cause trouble in your house if you take Sofia away from him." Lucas warns his employer who is Sofia's grandfather.
"You just do my orders.. I know what I have to do and you only need to carry out your duties because I have paid you quite expensive!" exclaimed Gustave with a stern glare at Lucas.
