Starting as a Roger Pirates Apprentice

Throughout his life on the Grand Line, there’s no doubt that Orin’s growth was extraordinary.

But if we’re talking about the true turning point of fate, it all started with a single sentence he uttered as a child—when he risked his life to protect someone.

“Kid, why do you insist on boarding our ship?”

Roger glared across the vast blue sea, asking the brat standing before him.

“Hahahahaha! Becoming a pirate is obviously so I can bring the world upside down with me!”

After setting sail, Roger was surprised to discover… he had somehow taken in a little monster as a crew member.

Strength far surpassing that of giants?

Innate mastery of Observation Haki?

And so, through a series of strange and chaotic landfall incidents, this kid revealed terrifying learning abilities, and quickly mastered marksmanship, swordsmanship—and eventually became the nightmare of Shanks and Buggy’s future!
