“What sort of nonsense is this? Do you know who I am?

I am Zotz, the level 91 Lord of Tier 7 territory — Hellscape!”

“Do you think these fragile bars can hold me?” Zotz yelled furiously, attempting to pull the bars apart.

Suddenly, a voice came from the cell beside him. “I wouldn’t do that if I were you…”

“Who dares—” Zotz’s words choked in his throat as the owner of the voice stepped into view.

“Y-you’re Gunther… the Devil-Slaying Knight!” he stuttered in shock.

How could such a being end up here?

Scratch that—who dared claim they could cage a man who had long surpassed mortality and stepped past level 100?

Seeing the question and terror in his eyes, Gunther shrugged. “I was caught human trafficking and arrested,” he said nonchalantly.

“W-what? Arrested?” Zotz muttered in disbelief. Since humans ascended to Acrana, the words arrest and police had long lost their meaning.

From the other side, another voice broke the silence. “I was arrested because my mount was moving too fast in what was dubbed a civilian zone.”

“Tch! the bastard fined me with a speeding ticket of six million gold and i couldn't pay on time... and i ended up here.”

“Oh my god! Asterion the Devil Rider!” Zotz saw the speaker and clamored in shock. Suddenly, he didn’t feel so rebellious anymore…
