Grey was not. Not when there was already knife sticking out of his gut.

He was even less ready when he woke up to a strong bout of deja vu and time having rewound to the start of his nightmare.

And somehow, he was even less ready than that when it happened again.

And then again.

Grey was trapped in a time loop, suffocated by Producers who insisted on painting him out to be some streaking madman, and surrounded by monsters and backstabbers around every corner.

Unfortunately, the robot arms supposed to apply his Nexis Suit at the start of every loop kept glitching so he couldn't interface with the system of the Genesis Games.

No system. No stats. No rewards.

He'd be damned if he didn't piss on every one of their graves.
