The highly anticipated new game Dawn of Divinity, Dawd as it had come to be known, had finally entered its closed beta testing stage. It was an event that became a who's who of popular names in the gaming space, from high ranking E-sports players, to popular streamers and even a few journalists from the big name publications.

Filling in for a slot intended for her brother, Valerie Ashcroft, a young woman with a degenerative muscular disease stood out amongst this crowd. It was this uniqueness, however, that led her to the suitably unique class of Glyphborne. A class that gave her the abilities of the mythical punch wizard, combining spellweaving magic and supernatural strength into a single formidable warrior, turning this frail and broken girl into an undeniable living weapon that will be feared by all.

However, when the game entered the public market and more players entered this fantastical world, it soon became clear that all was not what it seems as the so-called fictional world starts to bleed into reality.
